Alex is now a blinker during photos... so this is the best we got :)
He has finally lost his two front teeth! I was hoping for this about a month ago so he could sing the Christmas song "all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth", but I didn't have the courage to pull them out too early.Dave said I should make a post about all the unusual things that make me proud about my kids. So, here we go...
1. Lydia will eat asparagus like it's candy. I, however, still have the stalks (minus the tips) on my plate. I don't think I'll ever enjoy asparagus.
2. Alex is very interested in non-fiction books. The nail bitters we've read recently? Animals heads & necks, Electricity, the sun, Krakatau, the Buffalo Bills from 1970-1989, and the cliff hanger Rice
3. Lydia is in gymnastics and is really good! I'm surprised because this is NOT a Rozeski trait. I have to stop myself from clapping and gasping with awe as I watch her. Then I go home and try to imitate what she did... and I can't. Pretty soon I'm going to hurt myself!
4. Alex has some quirky science facts memorized... like how starfish spit our their stomachs to each their food. I usually don't believe him until his teacher tells me that he's right.
That's all I have for now. I love these kids, they teach me a lot. Hopefully I'm teaching them something too :)
